Here is another page that I'd long thought about before starting. The style is ripped off of Calvin & Hobbes and Richie Rich comics. Unfortunately, I still can't portray anyone consistantly from panel to panel, I don't know if I ever will, which makes basing something on highly consistent strips like Richie Rich demoralizing. Anyway, conceptually, my idea was that in the future, parents will have robot friends for their kids to keep them company, since they are safer and more dependable than other people's kids. The robots would grow up with the kids, and always be an inch taller or so, to give it a friendly authority. They'd sit and talk like kids do, but always give a positive influence. I like it.
