In Japan, people don't give Christmas cards, they give New Years cards, which I can appreciate as a secular thing. I have drawn two, which are nothing like Japanese cards, but I'm not Japanese. I spent a long time thinking about this picture, and it means a lot to me; the nature, the geometric shapes, the technology, and being together and alone at the same time.
